Delete your account

Wear Audio Recorder by Vladimir Ivanov · Last updated: 27 October 2026

The short version. You only have an account if you signed in with Google to use Transcription. You can delete it in the app in under a minute, or ask us by email and we will delete it for you. You can also ask us to delete specific data and keep your account.

Do you have an account?

The recorder itself works without an account. An account is created only when you sign in with your Google account to use Transcription. If you have never done that, we hold no account data about you: your recordings are stored on your device and, if you use cloud sync, in your own Google Drive or Dropbox.

Delete your account in the app

  1. Open Wear Audio Recorder on your phone.
  2. Go to the About tab.
  3. Tap Transcript.
  4. Tap Delete account and confirm.

Your account is deleted immediately. The Delete account button is shown only while you are signed in, so if you signed out earlier, sign in again with the same Google account first. If you do not see the option, use the email route below.

Delete your account without the app

Send an email to binom.mobile@gmail.com with the subject Delete my account. Please write from the email address of the Google account you signed in with, so that we can find your account. We will delete it within one month, as required by Article 12(3) GDPR, and usually much sooner, and we will reply once it is done.

Delete some of your data and keep your account

You do not have to delete your account to have data removed. Send an email to binom.mobile@gmail.com with the subject Delete my data, from the email address of your account, and tell us what to delete:

We delete it within one month and confirm by email. Your account, its email address and name, and your remaining balance stay as they are; to remove those, delete the account as described above. Billing records are kept as described below.

What is deleted with your account

Unused transcription time is lost. Deleting your account cannot be undone, and the remaining balance cannot be restored afterwards.
